When To Chuck Your Makeup

Image
Nowadays, people are more and more conciencious over keeping their makeup in tip top condition. You can wash brushes, but what about your products? When do they need replaced? Let's discover the horrifying truth...Or shall we? Mascara - 3 Months Unfortunately your Dior show mascara won't seem so worth the price tag after all if you don't even get time to finish the bottle! However, keep your Mascara longer than 3 months and you run the risk of some nasty eye infections #notcute Eyeliner-3 Months Now this goes for all liquid and gel liners. Sorry to break it to you, these don't last long enough to master the perfect cat eye wing, sigh. Pencil eyeliner-2 years 2 Years? I hear you asking.Yes.Two.Whole.Years. Life is not so bad anymore... Lazy Sunday Skincare

Sunday is the best day to boost my skin. I have far more time and patience than I would have mid-week. This means I can take more time to cleanse and care for my skin. I love how at the end of the week I can relax and take time to do a skin care routine, or choose to switch it up, depending on how the previous week has left my skin! I start the morning off with a long hot shower, this opens up my pores (this is ideal if you want to prevent blocked pores and give them a good cleanse!) I hop out the shower and  cleanse my skin with the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish. This product is absolutely fantastic, and has twelve awards to prove it! I use this with the pure cotton cloth. This product works in a 2 phrase process. Phase 1 is the Cleanse, where you massage this onto dry skin, working in a circular motion. Phase 2 is the Polish and uses the damp cloth to wipe off the cream. Afterwards, lightly pat skin dry with a towel. This cleanser contains Chamomile an...

Top Tips for Summer Hydration!

Image
Summer is an incredibly difficult time to stay hydrated. From harsh Sun lotions to becoming a shrivelled raisin in the pool,we all could do with a little more skincare to stay tip top Here's How... 1)Drink plenty of water. This may seem obvious but soooo many people miss out on this (Including me to be honest)and you're not alone if you don't fancy drinking bottle after bottle of plain water. There are so many ways to make delicious infused water! Here is my favourite recipe: Ingredients: 1 thinly sliced cucumber (You will use 4-5 slices per glass) 500ml Water Ice Cubes Lemon juice Mint In your glass, add a few cubes of Ice,then 4 slices of cucumber on top. Fill your glass with chilled water and add two teaspoons (or as much as desired) of Lemon Juice and a few mint leafs. Mix this in to the water Enjoy! PS. Serve in jam jars for an Instagram worthy drink! If you don't have any free time to make this lovely treat, then drinking co...

The Beach:The Good-The Bad-The Ugly

Summer is finally here and that means one thing. The beach... Now you either love it or hate it but whatever your feelings are, there are a few things we can all agree on... 1) There always happens to be a huge turnout whenever YOU go. Let's face it, unless you own a private island (and if you do, well aren't you lucky eh?) then you find especially in the hot weather you have to fight your way through sunburnt holiday makers and locals alike, whilst practically sprinting at full pelt to avoid the burning sand on your poor tootsies.  2) Buying your ice cream is just a bad omen. I'm sure we all have a story to tell about ice cream fails, whether it went from your mouth and migrated to your nose/cheeks?! or was topped with sandy sprinkles or maybe your dog started eating another strangers Mr whippy (True story-Oh the shame!) 3) You get serious Inflatable Float envy. No one likes a rubbish lilo that won't take your weight so your once so simple trip to the b...
